The Last Frontier

In the theory of quantum geometrodynamics, one studies an entity called superspace, whose points are 3-geometries of 3-manifolds such as our universe. This concept dates back to the 50’s and found by John Wheeler. Bryce DeWitt extensively analysed this entity, and found a peculiar feature, that their may be some kind of a barrier, a frontier beyond which our universe ceases to exist.
